Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films like Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Born into an upper middle-class family living in Los Angeles and had big hopes for the future. A passion for film in her daughter was something that she learned from her mother who also loved watching movies. Paula was involved in her school's co-curricular activities and particularly awed by the dramatic arts. Paula enjoyed acting with her friends as well as participating in school stage performances. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School's Hamilton Magnet Arts High School was the location of numerous school plays. The student decided to be an actor. She attended the University of Southern California for the Summer Program, and she loved it. She was given a three month project to create documentary films for PBS. After completing the assignment, she began being a production assistant for TV documentaries. Following the completion of her project, she started producing documentary films. Her work was rewarding, but she still wanted to pursue a career as an actor. She began her journey into acting when she appeared as Will Smith's co-star in love story Hitch. She has appeared since in numerous films as well as TV series.
