Anna Paquin
Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, born in Wellington,) is the name of a Canadian actress. Paquin is a Canadian as well as a New Zealand-born actress. She was born in Winnipeg but raised in Wellington She made her first acting appearance as a character in The Piano. In this romantic drama, she was the age of 11, Paquin won her second Oscar for Best Actress. Anna Paquin's full name is Anna Helene Paquin. Born July 24th 1982 on the 24th of July 1982 in Winnipeg Manitoba Canada, she was a Canadian birthed New Zealand actress. As a child, Paquin won her the Academy Award for best support actress. Paquin moved to New Zealand from Canada as an infant and was raised in the country. In response to an audition, Flora McGrath was cast as the daughter of a Scottish musician. Flora McGrath is the daughter of the mute Scottish musician who came to New Zealand to marry in the 19th century. The actress moved from New Zealand to United States as a teen. Paquin appeared as Jane Eyre's protagonist as a teenager in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (2000) and the main role of Jane Eyre in Fly Away Home (2000). Paquin appeared as Frankie Addams, a character from Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding in 1997. In Steven Spielberg's Amistad in 1997, she played the queen of Spain in a less prominent part. She portrayed teenagers in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000) as well as A Walk on the Moon (2000). She portrayed the role of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa in Almost Famous (2000).
