Fawn Mckay

Fawn MCK Brodie was born 15th September 1915 at Ogden Utah. Fawn MCKAY, brought up in the Mormon Church's First Family, employed her creative talents and skills in researching to produce the fascinating psycho-historical biographical biography of Joseph Smith. Published in 1945 with the title: No Man is a Master of My History, she used both. This title comes from a 1844 funeral sermon preached by Joseph Smith, the Church of Latter-Day Saints' founder. Nobody knows my past. I don't know. Fawn (29 year old) said that, she has been honest since the moment she made her statement the three hundred and thirty writers have stood up to the event. Many have abhorred him and some have praised. A few have even made a diagnosis. Not that the documents are not there, but the fact that they're contradictory. It's a daunting job to find these records, separating first-hand accounts from third-hand copies and fitting Mormon accounts with those of non-Mormon people to form a cohesive mosaic. I find it both fascinating as well as fascinating. Fawn Brodie's career was devoted to this aim. Thaddeus Steves became a worldwide celebrity as a result of her work in research as well as her work. "The Devil's Drive" (1959) The Scourge of South. Thomas Jefferson. Richard Nixon and An Intimate historical history (1974).
